The Graduate Program in Training and Development prepares tomorrow’s leaders in the growing field of workplace learning and performance. Our students develop a highly marketable skill set and are prepared to take an integral role in reshaping tomorrow’s workforce. As you interact with expert faculty and practitioners, you will develop cutting-edge skills linked to a wide array of career opportunities in corporate training, e-learning, performance improvement, consulting and organization development.
Accelerated Master’s Degrees Students have the option of attending class year-round to complete their Master’s Degree in just twelve months. Classes are delivered in 7-week segments. Students seeking one-year degree completion attend during the fall, spring, and summer terms.
Association for Talent Development (ADT formerly ASTD) Competency Model All courses in our Training and Development programs are mapped to the ATD Competency Model to ensure that you are learning the skills you need to advance your career.
Experienced Faculty Classes are taught by an experienced group of full-time professors and industry leaders who use analytical and creative approaches to engage students in realistic learning experiences.

Since being in this program, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. The comment “You will be called upon to solve real-life problems and develop the capability to directly apply what you are learning to your current or future career” is so true. I’ve been able to apply everything I’ve learned in these courses in my daily practices both professionally and personally. I also appreciate the accelerated format along with the entire program being online. This creates so much flexibility and freedom for me. This aligns with where I am in my life as my current job is a very demanding and nontraditional role.
