Welcome or Welcome Back: Spring 2018 Edition

We hope that you are ready to jump into your studies with us. As we begin a new year and a new semester, we want to make you aware of current and upcoming changes to our program.
- Tara Hawkins, our Program Coordinator since 2004, has accepted a position as an academic advisor for the College of Pharmacy. Over the years, we have all observed her exceptional talent and work ethic. She quickly became the ‘go to’ person for students, always offering a sympathetic ear, and–better yet–workable solutions to life’s problems. We will definitely miss Tara and her always encouraging and helpful approach to her work; however, we also wish Tara well. Tara’s last day with our program is Friday, January 19. While we work to replace Tara, please address any questions, concerns, or inquiries to Professor Vince Cyboran at vcyboran@roosevelt.edu.
- Professor Kathy Iverson is on research leave this semester. She is exploring “person-environment fit and online learning.”
- Professor Vince Cyboran, Department Chair, will be retiring this year. He will complete his teaching duties in May but will continue to work with the College of Education through December of this year.
When additional organizational changes within the College of Education are finalized, we will share them here and via e-mail.
Wow, many exciting changes! Good luck to Tara and Vince in all your new endeavors!
Sad to see Tara and Vince go! Wishing them all the best in their future endeavors!
Thanks, Mary!
